When asked to name which wrestlers he believes can evolve into "money-drawing players" for WWE, Austin said of The Viper, "His promos need work, and right now, he's a little one-dimensional. The crowds are digging him, but there's still another step on the ladder for him to climb to."
Orton suprisinly responded to him by agreeing with Austin by saying the following: "Austin is right, there is still room for me to move up the ladder. And I will. Watchme."

Howdy Splashers! The seasons are changing once again, the birds are getting ready to fly south for the winter, but of course I’ll will still be here as always giving you my 2 & ½ cents on what’s going on in the wrestling world today. So without any further a due, let’s get to it.
On TNA’s Bound for Glory PPV:
I missed the PPV This past Sunday, however I did read the results, and from what I read I was not too shocked. The biggest disappointment to me was in the Mickie James/Winter Kockout’s Title match. I felt that Winter using the “spitting blood” twice in a PPV to win a PPV from the same person was not only boring, it lacked creativity from the TNA creative team. Why didn’t they have Winter hit her with the Knockout’s Title when the ref was tending to Angelina Love (If you missed it Winter accidently accidently spit blood on her first). The other big disappointment was that it was obvious that Kurt Angle was not going to drop the title. TNA is setting him up for the fall for the BFG’s Tournament’s winner, which is Bobby Roode.
If there was anything good that came out of last Sunday’s PPV, it was Bobby Roode’s chance to be a front runner in TNA. Over the past two years he has earned my respect as a wrestler. I have said on WGS Radio, that Roode reminds me in many ways of a young Triple H. True he uses the AA Spine Buster (Which he calls the RR Spine Buster), but He has what it takes to be a huge star in the wrestling business! He’s got mic skills, wrestling skills, and submission skills! I truly think he needs another finisher aside from the Fuigi-Armbar, but that’s me. Lastly I would love to see him defeat Kurt Angle for the title.
On Jeff Hardy’s Return:
It was good to see that Jeff Hardy took responsibility for his actions. Some may think Jeff doesn’t deserve another shot, however I think everyone deserves that “one more shot”. We have seen actors, singers, and comedians delve into the darkness of drugs and alcohol and, then come back to stardom we all once knew. Look at Robert Downey Jr. He was charged and arrested for several drug charges, from the early 90’s to about 2001. Yet he came back and created several block-buster movies, and opened a sobriety house for celebrities. I’m not saying Jeff Hardy has gotten his “monkey” off his back, far from it. I’m just saying the fans that stood behind the man when he was up, should also stand behind him when he’s down too.
On John Morrison:
Is it me? Or has “Spiderman’s” career gone completely south since WrestleMania 28? There was talk around WrestleMania time that he was supposed to kiss or hug Trish Stratus, however that arrangement went sour. For those of you who watched the PPV you could even see Morison wanted little to do with the Super Diva. After that Morrison did suffer a couple of injuries, and his return was not exactly impacting. To make things worse John Morrison has lost every recent singles match. Is Morrison no longer in favor with the WWE creative team? Or did Morrison simply miss the boat from his injuries? In any case I think John Morrison is a gifted athlete. He might not have the best mic skills, but at the end of the day you can not deny what he can do in the ring.
Well that's it for today. Until next time splashers. See you when I see you! -Rick Starr

Lanny Poffo is "Leaping" with fury over at Greg the Hammer Valentine, for recently puling a no-show at Great North Wrestling's Randy Savage tribute show on Sept. 3 in Ontario, Canada. Randy Poffo "Savage" died eairlier this year, and this tribute show was a way to both pay to pay tribute to the Legend and bring closer to frinds and family. Lanny is so Upset that he has challenged Valentine to an MMA Match an he has even thrown in an eception amount of his own inheritence in as prize money. According to reports Poffo has exceptional MMA training since he left the WWF over 20 years ago.
This past Friday Grag Valentine did post a reason as to why he could not attend the tribue show. He Had to fly to Nashville, TN because his mother was on her deathbed, but thankfully she had reccovered. Valentine was not paid to be at the show, however, Great North Wrestling promoter Devon Nicholson claims he is out over $2000 due to flight & hotel costs, as well as prinitings for promotions for "The Hammer" to be at the show.
Greg Valentine had this to say about the issue:
"This was never the issue, so why he had to go off and try to hurt me at a time where we are having a tragedy in our family, I don't know. What tends to hurt me the most, is that I asked him to please tell the fans that I was sorry and that I was not going to be able to make it to the event. I purposely made sure that he would express that to the fans who came out to see me, and to celebrate the life of Randy Savage. Instead, he tells everyone that I pulled a "No show". He didn't give any reason for my absence, just told people I didn't show up. This is not how I operate. However, when push comes to shove with family, family will always win out."

There has been some talk of a Bill Goldberg vs Dave Batista MMA match. Apparently both former WWE superstars were on the Rumble in the Jungle II show on October 12th, however Batista has other plans. As of now Batista is heading to his Gracie Gym in Tampa, Florida. According to the Wrestling Observer Batisita is working on another movie opportunity, and he is recovering from back surgery last month.
On a side note, Goldberg tweeted that Batista was heading back to the WWE for another contract, however Batista told a source that he has no wrestling plans “or possibly ever the way WWE is going.”

William Regal who has not been seen on WWE television for some time (with the exception of WWE Superstars perhaps) , is now apparently demanding a title shot. Over the last 24 hours Regal has posted these following Tweets:
"Trying to think if Teddy Long owes me a favour.I need to get a World Championship match on Smackdown on Liverpool. Maybe the last chance I have of becoming the first English World Champion in front of WWE's loyalist fans.
Some people are saying I'm passed it.Maybe so but @WWE,look at it as charity.Give an old rogue a chance."
"I normally never retweet about wrestling,WWE or me(I don't need to because I'm so over anyway)so sorry to everyone who it's driving mental. I just want @WWE to take notice.Give back to your loyalest fans(and purely selfish reasons as I want to be the first British World champ)."
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the WWE seems to be high on the "First Native Born Champion". I'm not saying there is anything wrong with a person being proud of thier native-land, quite the contrary. It just seems the WWE is just taking that persons native flag and exploiting it for markatable gain. Don't be suprised if somewhere down the road the WWE releases a DVD of all the first native born champions.

WWE C.O.O. Triple H Sat down with Crave Media for an interview. and spoke with them about his movie career. Here is what he had to say:
"I wouldn't say anything "drew" me. Years ago I was offered a lead, but it didn't work with my schedule. Lionsgate offered me a three-picture deal, which I turned down because I didn't want to go to Hollywood. I wanted to stay in wrestling. Fast-forward a few years, and WWE Films asked that I take on this project called The Chaperone. I read it. I like it. And I wanna do it. And then they come to me with this other project, which was titled differently at the time, now called Inside Out. I read it, they offered it to me, I said "Great! O.k." The timing was right. It's not like I'm out knocking on doors, going to different studios saying "Guys, what's my next project here?" If they bring me another one, and it's a great script, and the timing is right, I'd love to do it. I enjoyed making the movies. I had a great time. But if it's not the right thing, and it doesn't fit the schedule, well, I love what I do now."
While the C.O.O. was trying to be optimistic about both his movies. "The Chaperone" was a flop in my opinon, and according to New York Times "Inside Out" is not going to be too much better. The only good thing that might come out of Triple HHH's movie career is more ammution for CM Punk.

TNA Knockout Madison Rayne has been MIA for several weeks. She was even missing during the "Knockout Roll-Call" two weeks ago when Karen Jarrett took over the Knockout Division. Many thought she was injured or even released but that's obviously not the case, as the "Queen Bee" Tweeded the following :
"Not this week y'all. fear not though, i'll be in Fla. next week, tiara in place, new camo perhaps? There's a new Miss America in town."
